Meta AI a question inside WhatsApp
Who it's for: Anyone who already uses WhatsApp.
Steps:
- Open WhatsApp and make sure it's up to date.
- Look for the Meta AI icon (a colorful ring) or a Meta AI chat in your chats list.
- Tap it to open a chat with Meta AI.

- Ask follow-ups like you would with a friend.
Copy-paste prompts:
Give me 5 quick dinner ideas using chicken, rice, and spinach. 30 minutes or less.
Help me write a kind message to a friend who just lost their job. Keep it short and not too formal.
Pro tip: Meta says some features are only in certain countries and languages. If you don't see Meta AI in WhatsApp, try the Meta AI app or meta.ai.
Common mistake: Sharing private info in chats. Keep passwords, bank details, and health info out of AI chats.
2. How to create or edit an image
Who it's for: People who post on Instagram or Facebook, and anyone who wants fun pictures.
Steps:
- Open the Meta AI app, or go to meta.ai.
- Sign in with your Meta account.
- Type "Create an image of..." and describe it.
- Or upload a photo and say what to change.
- Try a preset style, or describe your own.
- Save or share your favorite.
Copy-paste prompts:
Create an image of a cozy coffee shop in autumn, warm lights, rain outside, illustrated style.
(After uploading a photo) Make this look like a vintage postcard. Keep my face the same.
Pro tip: Meta says images made with Muse Image in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai carry an invisible watermark called Content Seal. That helps show it's AI-made.
Common mistake: Making images of other people without asking. Get permission before you edit or share someone else's photo.
3. How to find a local spot to eat or visit
Who it's for: Families, travelers, and anyone planning a night out.
Steps:
- Open the Meta AI app (or Meta AI in your app).
- Say where you are, or the area you're visiting.
- Say what you want: food type, price, vibe.
- Read the suggestions.
- Check hours and reviews on the place's page or a map app before you go.
