14 GBGrok Bot use-case ideas
Part of the Grok Bot beginner track · xAI (branded SpaceXSI on x.ai; app published by Anysphere/Cursor).
Ideas use features xAI documents: connected apps, the cloud browser, skills, routines, and approvals. Results depend on the sites and apps you use.
Small business (start here):
- Real estate: new-lead follow-up drafts. A Bot checks your lead inbox or CRM each morning and drafts replies for you to approve.
- Real estate: listing research pack. Before a listing appointment, a Bot gathers public info on the area and comparable listings into one document.
- E-commerce: competitor price watch. Weekly table of competitor prices and stock, with changes only.
- E-commerce: support email drafts. A Bot sorts support emails by topic and drafts answers from your FAQ. You approve each reply.
- Agencies: weekly client reports. A Bot pulls numbers from dashboards you connect and drafts a short report per client.
- Agencies: competitor ad and content watch. Overnight check of competitors' sites and public X posts for launches.
- Local services: review and message triage. A Bot reads new reviews and messages from accounts you connect and drafts polite replies.
- Local services: invoice collection. A Bot logs into vendor portals, downloads invoices, and parks them for review (an official xAI example job).
Work and productivity:
- Morning "what needs me" digest across inbox, calendar, and Slack.
- Meeting prep: a one-page brief on each meeting's attendees and open items.
- Expense reconciliation: match receipts and flag missing ones (an official xAI example job).
Personal:
- Price and deal watcher for something you plan to buy.
- Trip research: compare flights and hotels into one table. You book.
Side income (realistic):
- Freelance research and drafting. Use a Bot to speed up research and first drafts for clients you already have. We don't promise earnings. Keep your own review step, and check the client's rules on AI use.
Don't automate: sending money, accepting contracts, or anything you can't undo, without your approval.
